Register articles 1908
During 1908, the Register and Observer ran a series of articles written by "Our Special Reporter" on the activities and achievements of the people and farms of Kangaroo Island. Evidently on the mainland at that time, there was considerable interest about Kangaroo Island. Overtly promotional and often overly-optimistic, the articles contain interesting facts and figures between the flowery language of the era (and occasionally breaking into verse). Accordingly they provide a valuable snapshot of our history.
